Master Technician

Velocity Automotive Service has job openings available for an experienced Master Technician! We're looking for honest, dedicated, customer-service oriented people to join our team at Brandon, FL.

Master technicians are responsible for performing our most technically complex repair work, as well as overseeing the quality of repairs and maintenance performed by other technicians. Master Technicians are responsible not only for the service we provide, but also Velocity Automotive Service's reputation as a trustworthy and dependable auto shop. A successful Master Technician will have a very strong understanding of automotive maintenance & repair, strong attention to detail, ability to train other technicians on proper repair techniques, and a dedication to honesty and fairness.

Master Technicians are Responsible for:

Performing a wide range of complex repairs across multiple makes and models of vehicles
Inspecting the work of other technicians and ensuring it meets Velocity Automotive Service's high standards
Training other technicians on proper service procedures and techniques
Ensuring all work orders are completed correctly and accurately
Maintaining accurate and organized notes and paperwork on all jobs
Practicing safe work principles

Applicants are required to be:

An ASE Certified Master Technician
At least 18 years old
Recipients of a high school diploma or GED
In possession of a valid driver's license
Familiar with multiple makes and models of vehicles
Committed to keeping up to date on automotive knowledge
Dependable, honest and organized
Available to work weekends and some holidays

Needed to have my brakes looked at after being told i needed to have them replaced right away by another business. After a few minutes they actually told me I wasn't in dire need of having them replaced. I opted to go ahead and have them done just because the squealing was annoying. But I have to say, I appreciate the honesty. They have a nice waiting area as well although I was only there for about 45 minutes. I can't believe no one has reviewed this wonderful place yet!! I went here for some A/C repairs and was so glad I did!! They were more than helpful getting me in right away and the customer service was exceptional! The waiting area is well decorated and inviting(unlike most service shops) also the staff was So friendly! I was asked more than once if I wanted a bottle of water or anything to drink:) The guys were beyond helpful explaining what was being done and trying to get my car repaired quickly so I could be on my way! My A/C is still blowing cold and it was a pleasant service experience. I Definitely recommend Velocity!
